Captain K. Austin DeLorme is a strategic advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force – Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (SAF/AQ). In her current role she develops and advises on investment strategies and nontraditional partnerships, and has helped to establish SAF/AQ’s Venture Strategy and Initiatives Directorate, along with the Air Force Ventures Initiative to be executed out of AFWERX, the Innovation arm of the US Air Force. She was a lead in the design and execution of the inaugural AF Pitch Day. Prior to joining SAF/AQ, she helped to establish the Air Force Technology Accelerator Initiative, and supported in the standup of AFWERX.
